ZCK sells second-hand children’s clothes to accelerate the journey to net zero

Are you a parent worried about how the climate crisis will impact our children’s lives?

We believe that one way to tackle the climate crisis is by changing our consumer habits. Reusing and recycling rather than brand new. By breaking the cycle of over-consumption we reduce its negative impact on the earth’s resources. Zero Carbon Kids is playing its own part by encouraging parents (grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends!) to buy second-hand children’s clothes.

We make this very easy by collecting donations locally, and holding regular stalls in North London that have an emphasis on quality, range of sizes and styles. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and after covering our costs, use the surplus to support projects that develop natural carbon sinks, such as tree planting, rewilding, and ocean meadows.

Take positive action today and use your consumer power! In the words of Christiana Figueres we need stubborn optimism and radical rejuvenation. We can shape the future for our children, it is the future we choose.
